The concert was put together by Choir Director, Peter Coole, Choir Secretary and Performer, Susan Davies and Head of Community Music at QE School, Ben Jose. The range of music suited all tastes and ranged from classical to pop including pieces by Sibelious, Mozart, Bizzet, John Rutter, Berstein, Lloyd Webber.
The atmosphere of the evening was vibrant and the quality of the performances of all was superb with the evening finishing with an enthusiastic flourish with everyone including the audience joining in with a rendition of “Stand By Me” by Ben E King.
Parents and members of the community that attended agreed that the event was a resounding success and Ben Jose said “QE School are extremely grateful for the support of the Choir and we very much look forward to further projects in the future.”
