Impressive GCSE Results from Queen Elizabeth’s recognised with Award

On the back of an excellent set of GCSE results in August, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne has been presented with a certificate of achievement at the PiXL Celebration Dinner in London.

The dinner, organised by the Partners in Excellence Network, was held at the Guildhall and was a celebration of the educational achievements of over 1,000 secondary schools who are PiXL members.

Queen Elizabeth’s School was awarded the Certificate for Sustained improvement at GCSE.

Headteacher Martin McLeman was absolutely delighted to receive the award:

To make such strides in just 12 months has been truly gratifying, and for the whole school’s efforts to be recognised, against a backdrop of some serious competition, is very pleasing. I would like to thank PiXL for the award, and for all the staff and students for their great dedication and commitment in helping to achieve these improvements.”
